1. About Monsoon Lanka Tours

Monsoon Lanka Tours is a Sri Lankan tour agency that provides travel planning, tour packages, private tours, customized itineraries, transport arrangements, sightseeing experiences, and related travel services for local and international travellers.

2. Tour Inquiries and Bookings

When you submit a tour inquiry through our website, email, phone, WhatsApp, or any other communication method, our team will contact you to discuss your travel requirements.

A booking is confirmed only after we have agreed on the tour details, price, availability, payment terms, and confirmation process.

3. Tour Prices

Tour prices may vary depending on:

Number of travellers
Hotel category
Transport type
Tour duration
Activities and entrance fees
Custom itinerary changes
Seasonal availability

All prices will be clearly communicated before confirming the booking. Prices may change if the itinerary or travel requirements are changed after confirmation.

4. Payments

Payment terms will be provided at the time of booking. Depending on the tour package, a deposit or full payment may be required to confirm the booking.

Any remaining balance must be paid according to the agreed payment schedule. Failure to complete payments on time may result in booking cancellation.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation terms may vary depending on the tour package, hotel policies, activity providers, transport arrangements, and the notice period given.

Refunds, if applicable, will be processed based on the cancellation conditions agreed during booking. Some payments may be non-refundable, especially where hotels, tickets, transport, or third-party services have already been reserved.

6. Changes to Bookings

Travellers may request changes to their tour dates, itinerary, hotel category, number of travellers, or activities. We will do our best to accommodate changes, but all changes are subject to availability and may include additional charges.

Monsoon Lanka Tours reserves the right to adjust the itinerary if required due to weather conditions, road conditions, safety concerns, government regulations, attraction closures, or circumstances beyond our control.

7. Travel Documents and Requirements

Travellers are responsible for ensuring they have valid passports, visas, travel insurance, permits, and any other required documents before travelling to Sri Lanka.

Monsoon Lanka Tours is not responsible for any issues caused by missing, invalid, or incorrect travel documents.

8. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all travellers obtain suitable travel insurance before starting their journey. Travel insurance should cover medical emergencies, trip cancellations, personal accidents, lost belongings, delays, and other unexpected situations.

9. Health and Safety

Travellers are responsible for informing us of any medical conditions, allergies, mobility limitations, dietary requirements, or special needs before the tour begins.

Some activities such as hiking, wildlife safaris, boat rides, water activities, or adventure experiences may involve physical effort or risk. Travellers should participate based on their own health, ability, and comfort level.

10. Hotels, Transport, and Third-Party Services

Some services may be provided by third parties, including hotels, restaurants, transport providers, guides, safari operators, activity providers, and attraction operators.

While we work with trusted service providers, Monsoon Lanka Tours is not responsible for delays, changes, service issues, accidents, losses, or damages caused directly by third-party providers.

11. Behaviour and Responsibility

Travellers are expected to behave respectfully toward local communities, guides, drivers, hotel staff, wildlife, religious sites, cultural locations, and the natural environment.

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service if a traveller behaves in a way that is unsafe, abusive, illegal, disrespectful, or harmful to others.

12. Wildlife, Nature, and Cultural Sites

Sri Lanka is home to many sacred sites, protected areas, wildlife parks, and natural attractions. Travellers must follow all local rules, dress codes, safety instructions, and environmental guidelines.

Wildlife sightings are not guaranteed, as animals live freely in their natural habitats.

The information on our website is provided for general travel guidance. We try to keep all content accurate and updated, but tour details, prices, availability, attraction access, and itineraries may change without prior notice.

14. Limitation of Liability

Monsoon Lanka Tours will not be liable for any loss, injury, delay, damage, additional expense, or inconvenience caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to weather conditions, natural disasters, road closures, government actions, strikes, accidents, illness, flight delays, or third-party service failures.

Any personal information you provide to us will be handled according to our Privacy Policy. We use your details only to respond to inquiries, arrange travel services, communicate with you, and improve our customer experience.
